Three Usb Dongle Hack Connect PS3 To Internet Via Vista Adhoc Wireless Network?

Connect PS3 to internet via Vista adhoc wireless network? - three usb dongle hack

Basically, I want my PS3 online. My Internet connection is a three and a 3G USB dongle, to connect my laptop with a USB connection. I've tried an ad-hoc wireless network, but if I do not scan the PS3 can not find the SSID (my iPhone recognizes and uses the connection without problems). Can anyone tell me if this is possible and what should I do?

I also bought an Ethernet crossover cable to try it with cable work, but can not be everywhere with this method.

Salud!

The cross-over cable will not work. Not connecting a PC to PC games.

Cable Connection:
If you have a broadband DSL or cable connnected Ethernet cable from the modem to the PS3.

If you want to use on your PC and PS3 at the same time, then you need to buy a switch or hub. Plug the Ethernet cable from the modem to the switch or hub and connect the PC and PS3 on the switch or hub.

Wireless: (I think it's the best way to configure your system)

You need a wireless router.
An unnecessary and redundant, it's like a wireless network card. This is not the same as a router.

Here's how to configure your wireless router.
Connect the Ethernet / Internet via cable modem to the WAN port of the router is the only (with a different symbol than the others are LAN ports).

Next you use another Ethernet cable to the PC LAN port to connect the router. Now connect the router to configure. (See manual for how to open a session to buy depends on the router.)

Onceconnected, you have your Internet connection. Use DHCP if you use a cable connection and PPPoE if you have a DSL connection. If you use ADSL, you need to enter information that was given to you by your ISP.

You need to configure your wireless network.
Add to your wireless network name (aka SSID), network password the security and encryption WPA or WPA2. Channel on the car. Disable MAC address filtering, disable the port forwarding. Channel on the car. Save and Exit. The password prevents that other over the Internet free of charge and protects your data secure against identity theft.
Unplug the Ethernet cable from your laptop. Click the Network icon in the lower right corner of the menu commands on the screen. Select your network. You may be prompted to enter the network password to access your network.
