Overweight cat with IBD and Colitis ? - colitis in cats
My cat is 4.5 years old was recently with IBD, colitis, and diagnosed with fibrosis of the colon. Moved since his diagnosis, the list of dry (food duck and peas), is on prednisone every day and now plans enrofloxacin and B-12. It is very good, but are severely overweight. It has now 23 pounds. I know it is very rare for cats with IBD? Usually they are skin and bones. Does anyone have experience with the EIA, and you have any suggestions for reducing the non-stop steroids?
